I saw the video of you getting harassed by the news guys, the best thing they could have done was a short interview with your mascot. Come on, people flipping through the channels and see a big orange guy in the background they are going to stop and see it.

I’m gonna buy some of your buttons and give em out to people. It’s a good cause and you guys are a-ok in my book.

Your video ended up at http://www.canoë.ca in a french blog.
The journalist who posted the article was mostly in favour of the news crew (of course!).
I was not.
I think your cause is worthy, noble, and much more important than yet another coverage of a waiting line in front of an electronic goods store selling the latest hype gadget.
Hunger is a much more pressing need then getting an i-phone, I think…
But… er… Everybody on the blog agrees on one thing, though: the mascot IS ugly… Sorry!

I also saw your video on youtube and ordered a button to contribute to your cause. Too bad the American media is so concerned with showing off $600 gadgets and promoting spending, but won’t even so much as let a charity representative be present in the background of their shot.

brilliant video…I know that the “prank” wasn’t the original intent of the video, but I think you’ve stumbled across a “pranks for charity” marketing strategy/business model…I just bought some buttons…how could I not after seeing that video…keep up the good work!!!
